Uraian Tugas

Job description & requirements

The Account Receivable position is responsible for managing and monitoring cash flow and collections from customers. This role involves collaborating with various internal departments and external customers to ensure timely payments and accurate accounting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and manage outstanding invoices and bills from customers.
  2. Collect payments from customers according to specified terms and deadlines.
  3. Identify and resolve discrepancies and inconsistencies in customer invoices.
  4. Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and mail to resolve payment issues.
  5. Ensure that all billing processes are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Monitor customer accounts receivable balances and report relevant information to financial management.
  7. Provide support and information required during internal and external audits.
  8. Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to clarify billing information and resolve customer invoice-related issues.
  9. Manage and update the customer database, ensuring the accuracy of payment information.
  10. Assist in monthly closing processes and accounting reconciliations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
  2. Previous work experience in accounting or financial administration, with an emphasis on accounts receivable or billing, is desired.
  3. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
  4. Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work in a team and collaborate with internal departments and external customers.
  7. Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems.
  8. Time management skills and the ability to prioritize work efficiently.
  9. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle conflicts effectively.
