Accountant

We are an industrial contractor specialize in Process Technology Machinery for Sugar, Palm oil, Petrochemical, etc.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting in financial analysis. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
2. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
3. Perform financial analysis and reporting, including variance analysis and trend identification.
4. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
5. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
6. Provide support during audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
7. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support decision-making.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
9. Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.
10. Handle ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

1. S1 Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Prior experience in audit preparation and financial analysis is a plus
