Job Descriptions:
This is a staff level position reporting to Manager Jakarta. As an Agency Sales, you will be responsible for managing travel Agency Sales, servicing of travel agency accounts, and sourcing for new leads/sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will excel in creating and closing new opportunities using a consultative selling approach, identifying and qualifying leads for sales with new and existing customers.
Job Specifications:
- Achieve and surpass sales revenue targets.
- Identify and cultivate new business/sales opportunities and nurture existing agency accounts.
- Foster strong rapport and establish long-term customer relationships with agency accounts.
- Organizing sales seminars and product briefings for appointed travel agents.
- Generate periodic sales activity and performance reports.
- Undertake Ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
- Hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
- Fluent in both oral and written English, with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Willing and able to work remotely and travel frequently.
- Enjoy socializing and networking with people, and highly personable; able to identify and build relationships with agency stakeholders.
- Highly-driven, self-initiated and able to work independently.
- Has good understanding and appreciation of factors influencing demand, sales and fare levels.
- Confident and comfortable with public speaking and presentations.
- Prior knowledge and experience in commercial or sales within the airline or tourism industry, and knowledge of business information systems (e.g. Tableau) and Navitaire, SkyAgent or other GDS/airline reservations systems will be advantageous.
- Willing to be placed in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.
