Architectural Manager

Job Description

Manager of Architectural Works 
(Finishing, Structural Steels, and others for station construction projects.)
Manage overall architectural works to meet the quality, schedule, SHE and budget requirements of the project, which includes:
1. Prepare construction schedules, oversee, and control construction processes,
2. Selection of subcontractors / suppliers (materials, labors, equipment), preparation of project's deliverables (method statement, etc.) and obtaining the approvals,
3. Internal coordination with Design, M&E and other teams
4. Coordination / negotiation with external parties such as the Employer, the Engineer, interface contractors, relevant authorities, subcontractors / suppliers, etc.,
5. Leadership: Taking leadership in his own team and managing human resources,
6. Quality: Supervise construction works to ensure that all works are done in accordance with the project's specifications and drawings,
7. Safety: Ensuring works are following Safe Work Procedures, and
8. Budget Management: Understand the budget, control subcontract payment/terms, forecast potential expenses, propose countermeasures at the earliest.

Requirement

1. Experience of Construction Manager over 10 years in stations, high-rise building, malls, or other similar challenging projects.
2. Work experience in international construction companies (preferably a Japanese firm) would be an asset.
3. Fluent English Skills for Business Settings.
4. Bachelor’s Degree in architecture 
5. Strong negotiation skills/experiences of negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
6. Effective leadership with strong sense of responsibility. Cooperative and proactive attitude to coordinate with client and others.
7. Knowledge about finishing details, materials/product, cost information, and the construction procedures/methods.
8. Construction schedule: Experience of making the long/short term schedule and the monitoring. Proactive actions to catch-up.
9. Site Management: Direct site engineers with efficient communications to organize the site neat and under control to keep up with the quality/budget/schedule. Prepare necessary documents in advance for the approvals of works. 
10. Report/update the site progress to Project Manager and Clients. Solve any construction issues proactively.
11. Possess passion for construction of stations.

Salary: 30-40 Mio Gross
