Role Summary:

To develop spatial modeling and optimization methods to improve the accuracy and productivity of Spatial Analysis which is used as one of the data sources in the forest planning process, plantation productivity support system, and landbank addition program

Responsibilities:

1. Develop a spatial optimization method to be implemented in a long-range plan using REMSOFT and another platform

2. Collaborate with harvesting to determine objective and operational constraints in harvest scheduling and tactical planning using REMSOFT or other platform

3. Collaborate with R&D, fiber operation, and operational planning to develop a spatial platform to support the genetic deployment program (GDP)

4. Develop a plantation risk map ( fire, wind, P&D,  flood, and social risk) and implement in the GDP and landbank management

5. Conduct due diligence to assess potential new areas for landbank addition

Requirements:

1. Minimum bachelor's degree in forestry or geography of computer science

2. Has good capabilities in GIS and remote sensing

3. Capable in spatial modeling and optimization

4. Capable in GIS programming using Python or other platforms

5. Good motivation and fast learning

6. Good leadership and team player
