Biomass Power Plant Manager

Medco Papua is a Power Plant division of Medco Group, inline with our continued growth and expansion on renewable energy, is inviting professional candidates to join our team for the following vacant position:

BIOMASS POWER PLANT MANAGER 

(Will be based at site Wapeko Merauke Papua)

Manage operations at Biomass Power generation facilities, and direct work activities at plant, including supervision of operations and maintenance staff.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Controls Operate to start, stop, or regulate biomass-fueled generators, generator units, boilers, engines, or auxiliary systems. 
2. Adjust equipment controls to generate specified amounts of electrical power. 
3. Test, maintain, or repair electrical power distribution machineries or equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices. 
4. Shut down and restart Biomass Power Plants or equipment in emergency situations or for maintenance, repairs, or replacements. 
5. Ensure record operational data on forms or in log books properly. 
6. Manage parts and supply inventories for biomass plants. 
7. Prepare reports on biomass plant operations, status, maintenance, and other information. 
8. Evaluate power production or demand trends to identify opportunities for improved operations. 
9. Plan and schedule plant activities such as wood pre-processing, waste, or refuse fuel deliveries, ash removal, and regular maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS :

1. Maximal age 45 years 
2. Min. S1 in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering
3. Min. 10 years experience in Biomass Power Plant
4. Min. 5 years experience as a Biomass Power Plant Manager
5. Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)
6. Knowledge in information technology is an advantage
7. Willingness based at site Wapeko Merauke Papua
