Coal Procurement: Sourcing coal from suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery.
Quality Control: Monitoring the quality of coal received to ensure it meets the required standards for efficient combustion and minimal environmental impact.
Inventory Management: Maintaining adequate stock levels of coal to support uninterrupted pulp production while optimizing inventory costs.
Operational Support: Collaborating with plant operations teams to ensure optimal utilization of coal in pulp production processes, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations related to coal usage and emissions.
Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in coal procurement, supply chain management, or operations within the pulp or similar heavy industry sector.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of coal properties, combustion processes, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze coal quality data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize coal usage.
Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to interact with suppliers, internal teams, and regulatory authorities effectively.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to troubleshoot operational issues related to coal usage and implement solutions to improve efficiency and compliance.
Placement: To be placement in Tarakan, North Kalimantan (no roster system).
