Commercial Head - Pt Jagat Oriental Tours And Travel

Bumi Laut Group's Travel & Tourism business was established in 1987 to provide quality travel and tour services to the rapidly expanding population in Indonesia.

Job Summary : 

As a Commercial Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Jagat's travel's operations. This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with comprehensive understanding of the travel sector, strong business acumen, and exceptional managerial skills. The Commercial Head will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy for the Tour and Travel division, aligning with the overall business goals.
2. Meet the annual sales target set in the budget and Implement strategies to maximize revenue streams, including pricing strategies, upselling opportunities, and innovative product development.
3. Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including hotels, airlines, AND TRAVEL agencies.
4. Lead and inspire a high-performing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
5. Stay abreast of industry trends, conduct market analysis, and identify new business opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
6. Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer experiences, addressing customer feedback, and continuously improving service quality.
7. Work closely with the finance team to monitor and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
8. Provide regular reports and updates on key performance indicators, market trends, and the overall performance of the Tour and Travel division to Director.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Proven track record of at least 7 years in a senior commercial role within the travel and tourism industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of the travel industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
