Requirement :
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in law, Business, Science, Engineering, or other relevant degree from an accredited and recognized university
- Minimum of 3 years post-degree, including relevant work experience in tendering, Pre/post award contracts activities and contract management aspects of large offshore operations rig programs
- Experience and basic technical knowledge of Drilling Activities (preferably including Jack up Drilling Rigs, Barges, Directional Drilling, Drilling Fluids, OCTG, Cementing, Liner Systems, Sampling Analysis, Mechanical/Wireline, Completion Equipment, Wellheads & Trees, Wireline, Coiled Tubing, Perforating, Acid Stimulation, Fishing and Milling, etc.)
- Experience in Drilling Activities’ contract strategies, contract tendering, contract award, post award contract administration and contract negotiations for large Operation programs
- Strong communication skills, including strong verbal and written skills in English and ability to convey results and recommendations clearly and concisely from technical and commercial analysis to audiences
- Ability to work in a customer focused and team-based environment and to exercise an appropriate combination of cultural sensitivity, approachability, resolve and diplomacy in order to work effectively within multicultural environment
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft office skilled in in Excell /PPT/Word applicant, SAP, etc.)
- In-house experience from a customer contracts department in the upstream oil & gas or midstream industry a plus
- Highly organized
- Problem solver and able to find creative solutions
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of existing Subsurface contracts; examples of duties include assessing suitability of current contracts for new rig programs, seeking opportunities to optimize contract effectiveness, providing technical evaluation for scope adds and estimating cost impact for contract cap values, implementing change orders / contract amendments as required, etc.
- Establish new contracts; examples of duties include defining technical requirements / specifications to be included in contracts, developing contract / tendering strategies, providing engineering support for tendering activities, conducting technical and commercial evaluations, assisting in negotiations, etc.)
- Assess commercial risks and consider appropriate risk mitigation solutions to prevent any potential impact on Tender and Contract delivery program
- Able to resolve all technical, contractual and commercial queries
- Interface internally with subsurface team members to ensure contract effectiveness, capturing lessons learned from current contracts and applying for upcoming operation programs
- Interface with other company stakeholders such as Supply Dept to support tendering and procurement processes
- Provide mentorship for the development of National Engineers and junior staff
- Intake, review and negotiate a broad range of customer agreements, such as purchase orders, pricing agreements and master services agreements.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance and Treasury on operational and commercial matters per Company delegation of authority and liaise with counsel in the Law Department to respond to customers with template agreements and redlines of customer draft agreements.
- Maintaining status of pending requests and making sure requests are advanced and addressed timely and per Company policies and procedures
- Managing the customer contracts database in coordination with the Marketing Department
- Audit existing key contracts and identify gaps versus good practices
- Collect resource and quotation for rig service(Catering, Manpower, HDE and Transport. etc)
- Prepare SOW for rig service
- Prepare bidding document for rig service
- Arrange bidding following regulation
- Prepare contract document following SOP
- Analysis rig service cost and give budget for management reference
