About Us: Mama Pizza has been a beloved dining destination in Gili Air for 6 years, offering a diverse menu inspired by traditional Italian recipes with a modern twist. Our restaurant prides itself on sourcing the freshest, highest quality ingredients to create memorable dishes that delight our guests. With a warm and inviting atmosphere and a dedication to impeccable service, we strive to provide an unforgettable dining experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities: As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, quality control, and staff management. Your creative vision and culinary expertise will drive the creation of innovative dishes while maintaining the integrity of Italian cuisine. Additionally, you will:

  • Develop and execute seasonal menus that showcase fresh, seasonal ingredients and reflect current culinary trends.
  • Lead and inspire our culinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and creativity.
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain inventory levels, control food costs, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for achieving culinary and business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Having Worked Aboard or Having Worked in Bali
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale Italian restaurant.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Italian cuisine, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff.
  • Creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
