Food And Beverage Manager

We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to the role of Food and Beverage Manager for our client. Our client is a hospitality and lifestyle company, renowned for its luxurious resorts, hotels, and dining experiences. Specializing in offering guests a fusion of traditional Indonesian culture and modern luxury, the company sets itself apart in the industry.

Job Description 

1. Provide a professional, advisory, and executive support service to the Director of Food & Beverage to assist in meeting the strategic goals of the establishment.
2. Assist the Director of Food & Beverage to develop and implement Food and Beverage promotions, strategies, and special events in conjunction with the Executive Chef and the Director of Sales and Marketing.
3. Prepare monthly outlook/forecast reports.
4. Negotiate Food and Beverage contracts within corporate guidelines
5. Drive corporate or Hotel specific programs that affect guest satisfaction and profitability in the outlets (eg. Platinum Privilege, Starwood Preferred Guest etc.)
6. Handle Food and Beverage complaints in a timely and effective manner
7. Manage all entertainers in the property, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
8. Ensure compliance with legislated heath and safety requirements within the workplace
9. Liaise with the Executive Chef on menu engineering and portion control, ensuring the highest food standard is achieved whilst selling at the correct prices.
10. Implement and conduct development and performance reviews, identifying key personnel for further development and structured career pathing.
11. Implement and maintain training systems to ensure that associates have the necessary framework and skills to perform their job efficiently and effectively.
12. Prepare work schedules and annual leave schedules within budget, business expectations and guidelines of the appropriate industrial legislation.
13. Conduct regular staff meetings to keep all associates informed.
14. Maintain all equipment within the outlets eg. Menus, linen, china, glass, electrical equipment and Point of Sale system.

Qualifications: 

1. Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Food & Beverage Management 
2. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
3. Previous hotel experience preferred on the same or similar position in 5-star hotels.
4. Able to Promote teamwork
