Job Overview –

 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Group Programming Coordinator to join our team. As the Group Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving group sales initiatives, cultivating relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and group organizers, and ensuring the seamless coordination of group bookings and events at our resort.

·         Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, event planners, and group organizers interested in hosting events or booking accommodations at our resort.

·         Provide personalized assistance to clients throughout the booking process, including optimal concessions to maximize booking potential, drafting schedules/itineraries, and coordinating logistics.

·         Coordinate with various departments within the resort, including reservations, food and beverage, spa and event management, to ensure the successful execution of group events.

·         Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and bookings.

·         Provide exceptional customer service to clients before, during, and after their stay, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.

·         Attend programming and develop the ability to speak confidently to Miraval Austin ethos and programming and sell product.

·         Support Group Sales team to delivery on exceptional client experiences.

·         Support IW operations and IW coordinators with administration tasks

·         Must have flexibility to be onsite and assist the programming, events, and operations and needed

Qualifications -

Ideal candidates will possess:

·         Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.

·         Must be self-starter and independent at work

·         Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

·         Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

·         Willingness to learn and master Resort Suite, Envision software systems in addition to other CRM systems.

·         A passion for wellness and hospitality, with a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for guests.

·         Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

·         Must be able to lift 30lbs

·         Previous experience working in a resort

LANGUAGE SKILLS
