The Ark Ubud Bali, a retreat oasis tucked away down a quiet street in Penestanan is now hiring for retreat team support! Throughout the year we host various retreats and we bring on extra support to help our guests out. Below is the job description of what we are looking for in a qualified candidate to join our team.

Guest Service Associate is an entry-level position and responsible for providing

excellent customer service to guests, including check-in and check-out procedures,

answering questions about hotel amenities and services, and handling guest complaints

or concerns. They must be able to communicate effectively with guests and other staff

members and have a friendly and professional demeanor. Guest Service Associate

must also be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. This is a front-line

position that requires a high level of customer service skills

Guest Service Associate job description

We are looking for a friendly and customer-oriented Guest Service Associate who will

be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. In this role, you will be

the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for answering their

inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. Additionally, you

will be responsible for managing reservations, checking guests in and out, and providing

recommendations and booking transportation, excursions, placing orders for in-house

delivery. Promptly following daily schedules and assisting our staff with staying on

schedule.

Guest Service Associate duties and responsibilities

 Welcoming guests as they arrive and checking them into their rooms

 Answering phone calls and responding to guest inquiries

 Handling guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional

manner

 Processing payments and maintaining accurate guest records

 Assisting guests with luggage and other requests

 Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms

are clean and functioning properly

 Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area

 Providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and restaurants

 Upselling in-house services and amenities to guests

 Ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay

Guest Service Associate requirements and qualifications

 Fluent in Bahasa and English, both written and spoken

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

 Strong problem-solving skills

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office

 Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays

 Previous experience in customer service or hospitality industry preferred

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 Attention to detail
