Hadoop Engineer

Qualifications :

1. 3+ years of experience with Cloudera Hadoop implementations is majors plus.

2. 5+ years of experience with OS Linux, ie Redhat.

3. Having a problem-solving attitude, work independently and as part of a team.

4. Willing to work in banking industry.

Job Descriptions :

1. Manage and deploy best practice for Hadoop big data infrastructure, Hadoop Distributed File System, master node, worker node and data node.

2. Manage and deploy best practice for Cloudera installation include Ranger, Cloudera Manager, Cloudera Management Service Role, Data Analytics Studio, Hue, Hive metastrore, Oozie, Schema Registry and Streams Messaging Manager.

3. Perform OS installation for Hadoop on Linux platform include configuration and best practice setting.

4. Perform hardening setting for OS and Cloudera.

5. Performance tuning for OS, Hadoop node and Cloudera.

6. Perform daily monitoring for Hadoop node and OS parameters.

7. Backup and restore for Hadoop system.

8. Support testing activities (including DR drill) with various stakeholders i.e. application teams, external parties.

9. Establish and maintain documentation and standards.

10. Works as part a team and provide the support when required.
