The Head of Sales will be reporting to the CEO. The successful candidate will work closely with sales and marketing team in branch offices across Indonesia to develop direct channel for the company. You will be expected to analyze and understand market situation and trends especially in e-commerce business across Indonesia.

A well respected player boasting a strong track record historically, they are representing several premium brands for Industrial tools in Indonesia. Consequently, they are looking to bring on board a Head of Sales who can assist the business at a time of rapid growth and make a key contribution to the business especially helping the company to develop the direct channel.
Description
Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Responsible for overall Indonesia sales performance in Indonesia
- Develop solid sales and marketing strategy to a
- Coach, train and mentor distributors and salesman.
- Create marketing and sales plans according to the budget and sales target
- Establish channel partners to distribute the products across Indonesia
- Make full use of market intelligence such as competitors, product profile and product price to enlarge market share
- Track and monitor progress on new business development in all regions
Profile
This role is based in Jakarta. Whilst fluency in English would be an advantage strong written and spoken Bahasa is a must. The successful individual must also have excellent organizational and people skills, project & planning management skills with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
Other key requirements include:
- A minimum 15 years experiences as Sales and Marketing in B2B Industry
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through ecommerce and other direct channels.
- They should possess excellent communication skills and have experience leading and motivating a team of sales professionals.
- The successful candidate should also have a deep understanding of the ecommerce landscape and be familiar with the latest trends and technologies in the industry. They should have experience developing and implementing ecommerce strategies, optimizing online sales channels, and creating compelling online marketing campaigns.
- In addition to their sales and marketing expertise, the ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the power tool market, including customer needs, competitor landscape, and industry trends. They should be able to analyze market data and consumer insights to identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth.
- Overall, the successful candidate should be a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and a results-driven professional with a passion for ecommerce and direct channel sales.
