HSE Officer Shall:
- Liaise with the Company Head of Aviation Safety & Security and Head of Occupational HSE; advice
- on all Health, Safety, Environmental matters relating to company activities.
- As the appointed, competent person, to monitor and audit compliance with statutory regulations, contractual obligation and Company and Health, Safety and Environment Policies
- Ensure that suitable information is disseminated throughout the company to enable hazards to Health, Safety and the Environment to be correctly identified and satisfactorily dealt with
- To collect, collate, interpret and disseminate information concerning Health, Safety, and Environment and Security matters.
- Preparing the Contractor Safety Management System document / HSE Document required on Qualification and Tender Process
- Schedule, attend and minute Health & Safety meetings.
- Carry out audit inspections of company locations.
- Participate in the investigation of accidents and incidents.
- Collate and analyze all occurrences, incidents, accidents, hazard identification reports and safety suggestions ensure that corrective action is taken and that they are ‘closed out’.
Requirements:
- Has a 2 (two) years’ experience in occupational health, safety and environmental industry
- Has a knowledge of the Aviation Regulations, operations specifications, and the company operations and technical manuals
- Has received specialized training in Safety related courses which in the opinion of the Quality, Safety & Security Manager are sufficient to prepare him for the duties and responsibilities of the Head of Occupational HSE
- Good understanding of HSE and Quality Management principles that has been acquired through formal training and practical experience.
- Satisfy the standard requirements specified for the position
- Has undergo and pass the screening process by Quality, Safety & Security Department
- Preferable Graduated/Hold a Bachelor Degree preferably in Occupational health, safety and environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of aviation and the organization’s functions and activities
- People skills (such as tact, diplomacy, objectivity and fairness)
- Good analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
- Has knowledge of modern method in data process aapplicable to Aviation Safety & Security, Occupational HSE and Quality Management System
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Capable of working unsupervised
- Leadership skills and an authoritative approach
- Worthy of respect among peers and management
