IPAL Supervisor

Job Description

1. Responsible for the IPAL system 
2. Responsible for ensuring that the results of IPAL processing comply with government quality standards.
3. Monitoring and ensuring the IPAL systems and equipment are running well (Centrifugal Pump, Submersible Pump, Dosing Pump, Blower, Cooler, Diffuser, pH Meter for Pipeline systems) 
4. Review and ensure that COD, pH, D.O and temperature analysis in the IPAL system is carried out and ensure the results comply with quality standards.
5. Manage work schedules and daily reports for the IPAL team.
6. Prepare and create daily reports and monthly reports to Management.
   Supervise the IPAL team by providing direction, discipline, support, and providing training to complete the assigned tasks.
7. Prepare and manage the annual budget for IPAL operations and monitor budget expenditures, including use of chemicals, reagents, equipment (pipes, pumps, etc.) and certification of training for the IPAL team.
8. Coordinate with Government Agencies regarding audits, visits and training related to IPAL.
9. Provide annual performance evaluations for the competence and capabilities of the IPAL team.
10. Coordinate with other sections and departments regarding the disposal of liquid waste into the IPAL system.
11. Prepare reports (quarterly) to be reported to the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup.

Requirement

1. Able to master the IPAL work system continuously (UASB ANAEROBIC & AERATION)
2. Able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
3. Minimum 3 years' experience with IPAL systems (UASB, EGSB, CSTR & Aeration) or at least 5 years with IPAL systems (DAF, Coagulation, Ion Exchange, Ozonization, Facultative, Sedimentation)
4. Minimum S1 education in study program (Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering)
5. Having a POPAL / PPPA certificate is preferred.
6. Thorough knowledge of equipment, facilities, materials, methods and procedures used in wastewater treatment.
7. Have knowledge in Piping systems (Installation, Connection and Repair)
8. Have the ability to use tools.
9. Have skills in chemical analysis (COD, TSS, SVI) and biology.
10. Ability to guide, direct and motivate employees.
11. Ability to organize and supervise IPAL team activities.
12. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments and the public.
13. Have hands-on knowledge and experience in activated sludge processes, test procedures, chemistry and JARTEST test procedures, troubleshooting and hazard detection in the process.
14. Have knowledge in terms of Environmental Law Regulations.
