Job Description
- Responsible for the IPAL system
- Responsible for ensuring that the results of IPAL processing comply with government quality standards.
- Monitoring and ensuring the IPAL systems and equipment are running well (Centrifugal Pump, Submersible Pump, Dosing Pump, Blower, Cooler, Diffuser, pH Meter for Pipeline systems)
- Review and ensure that COD, pH, D.O and temperature analysis in the IPAL system is carried out and ensure the results comply with quality standards.
- Manage work schedules and daily reports for the IPAL team.
- Prepare and create daily reports and monthly reports to Management.
Supervise the IPAL team by providing direction, discipline, support, and providing training to complete the assigned tasks. - Prepare and manage the annual budget for IPAL operations and monitor budget expenditures, including use of chemicals, reagents, equipment (pipes, pumps, etc.) and certification of training for the IPAL team.
- Coordinate with Government Agencies regarding audits, visits and training related to IPAL.
- Provide annual performance evaluations for the competence and capabilities of the IPAL team.
- Coordinate with other sections and departments regarding the disposal of liquid waste into the IPAL system.
- Prepare reports (quarterly) to be reported to the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup.
Requirement
- Able to master the IPAL work system continuously (UASB ANAEROBIC & AERATION)
- Able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
- Minimum 3 years' experience with IPAL systems (UASB, EGSB, CSTR & Aeration) or at least 5 years with IPAL systems (DAF, Coagulation, Ion Exchange, Ozonization, Facultative, Sedimentation)
- Minimum S1 education in study program (Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering)
- Having a POPAL / PPPA certificate is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of equipment, facilities, materials, methods and procedures used in wastewater treatment.
- Have knowledge in Piping systems (Installation, Connection and Repair)
- Have the ability to use tools.
- Have skills in chemical analysis (COD, TSS, SVI) and biology.
- Ability to guide, direct and motivate employees.
- Ability to organize and supervise IPAL team activities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments and the public.
- Have hands-on knowledge and experience in activated sludge processes, test procedures, chemistry and JARTEST test procedures, troubleshooting and hazard detection in the process.
- Have knowledge in terms of Environmental Law Regulations.
