PT Phoenix Resources International adalah pulp industry yang terletak di kota Tarakan, Kalimantan Utara (NO ROSTER SYSTEM). Kami sedang membutuhkan Lab Technician sebagaimana berikut:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine testing and analysis of pulp samples using laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Conduct physical, chemical, and mechanical tests to evaluate pulp quality, including brightness, strength, viscosity, and moisture content.
- Record and interpret test results accurately, maintaining detailed records of all experiments and analyses.
- Monitor process parameters and raw material inputs to identify deviations and trends that may affect pulp quality.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration, cleanliness, and safety standards are met.
- Stay updated on industry developments, technologies, and regulations related to pulp production and quality control.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and projects aimed at improving process efficiency, product quality, and cost optimization.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working in the laboratory environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in the pulp and paper industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately perform and interpret test results.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instruments used for pulp testing, such as spectrophotometers, viscometers, and tensile testers.
- Knowledge of pulp production processes, including pulping, bleaching, and refining, is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and data analysis software.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as needed to support production schedules and laboratory operations.
