Responsibilities:
- Conduct nightly audits to verify the accuracy of financial transactions, including guest charges and payments, cash transactions, and accounts receivable/payable.
- Prepare daily financial reports, including balancing accounts, reconciling discrepancies, and generating revenue summaries.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift, providing friendly and efficient service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and respond to any security or emergency situations that may arise during the night.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth transition between shifts and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in accounting or hospitality management is a plus.
