- Prepare feasibility studies and project proposals related to operational aspects.
- Monitor and control project schedules.
- Perform calculations related to process and operational requirements.
- Determine pump and pipe sizing calculations.
- Ensure the implementation of engineering principles in the project, including building and piping.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field is usually required. Specialization or coursework in process engineering or relevant areas such as plant design or industrial chemistry is beneficial.
- Knowledge of oleochemical processes: Familiarity with the specific processes involved in oleochemical production, such as oil extraction, refining, hydrogenation, esterification, and distillation.
- Process optimization: Experience in optimizing process parameters, conducting process simulations, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
- Safety and compliance: Understanding of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards related to oleochemical production. Ability to ensure compliance with these regulations and develop and implement safety measures.
