Process Engineer/Quality Engineer

We are searching for Process Engineer/Quality Engineer to ensure problem discovery from Esco IQC, In- Process QC, Final QA and Technical Service feedback. Initiates, plans, and executes proactive technical audits for Esco critical electronics vendors, problem discovery during vendor factory technical audits.

Competency Requirements:

1. Degree in any engineering field  
2. At least 2 years of quality experience, preferably in high mix low volume assembly shop environment.  
3. Leadership skills.  
4. Team player.  
5. Good command in written and verbal English.  
6. Demonstrated quality control experience with knowledge of ISO 9001 and 7 QC tools.
7. Risk Analysis, FMEA, DMAIC approach, 8D methodology.
8. Willing to work in Lobam, Bintan, Indonesia.

Key Tasks:

1. Problem discovery from Esco IQC, In-Process QC, Final QA, and Technical Service feedback.
2. Initiates, plans, and executes proactive technical audits for Esco critical electronics vendors.
3. Problem discovery during vendor factory technical audits
4. Carry out root cause investigations with vendor.
5. Work with vendor to develop corrective action plans.
6. Follow up on implementation.
7. Utilize findings from the above processes as input into Esco IQC processes.
8. Recommend, monitor, and trend quality metrics from Vendor QC, Esco IQC, In-Process QC, Final QC, Technical Service to assess actual improvements.
9. Develop, recommend, and implement strategies to continuously improve quality / reduce cost / reduce risk, working cross-functionally with all stakeholders. This may include input into component selection, reliability engineering (relates to HALT testing for Esco new designed PCBAs), recommending sourcing alternate vendors, and others as required, train Esco personnel across functions so they may function more effectively in their roles to achieve the above objectives.
