Responsibilities:
- Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape in the cosmetic industry. Analyze customer feedback and sales data to gain insights for new Product Development opportunities.
- Product Development Strategy: Develop a Product Development strategy based on market research and business objectives. Identify target customer segments, create product roadmaps, and define product positioning to drive sales and profitability.
- Conceptualization and Ideation: Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and internal teams to generate innovative cosmetic product ideas and concepts. Translate consumer insights and trends into actionable product features and designs.
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end Product Development process, including defining project timelines, coordinating activities, and ensuring successful execution of product launches. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, manufacturing, and marketing teams to align Product Development efforts with brand guidelines and marketing strategies. Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and ensure product quality.
- Testing and Prototyping: Coordinate product testing and prototyping activities to validate designs, functionality, and quality. Gather feedback from internal stakeholders and customers to refine product iterations.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor offerings and industry trends to identify gaps and opportunities. Conduct benchmarking exercises to ensure the store's cosmetic products remain competitive in terms of quality, design, and pricing.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop Product Development budgets and forecasts. Track project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
- Education : Bachelor's degree in pharmacy
- Knowledge of Cosmetic: Strong understanding of cosmetic design, materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop Product Development strategies based on market research, customer insights, and business objectives. Experience in conducting market analysis and applying findings to product planning.
- Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing end-to-end Product Development projects, including defining timelines, coordinating teams, and ensuring successful product launches. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
