Project Superintendent

Job Description:

1. Technical Oversight: 

a. Provide technical expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering. 

b. Review project plans, timeline, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with engineering standards and requirements. 

c. Collaborate with project owners, engineers, consultants, vendors, designers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance. 

2. Project Management: 

a. Develop and implement an expedited project plan outlining mechanical task, electrical tasks, schedules, resource allocation, and budgetary requirements for immediate execution. 

b. Monitor progress, track milestones, and manage project budgets. 

c. Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, safety practices, and adherence to engineering specifications. 

3. Team Leadership: 

a. Lead and supervise construction/dismantling teams, subcontractors, and vendors, providing guidance and direction as needed. 

b. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication. 

c. Ensure all team members follow safety protocols, quality standards, and project guidelines. 

4. Quality Assurance: 

a. Conduct inspections, tests, and commissioning activities to ensure systems operate as designed. 

b. Address any deficiencies or non-compliance issues promptly, coordinating with stakeholders for resolutions.

c. Implement best practices & standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensure compliance with environmental standards, company policies, national regulations & international regulations to streamline workflows throughout the project lifecycle. 

5. Client Relations and Reporting: 

a. Implement quality control measures to verify the accuracy and functionality of mechanical and electrical systems. 

b. Conduct inspections, tests, and commissioning activities to ensure systems operate as designed. 

c. Address any deficiencies or non-compliance issues promptly, coordinating with any stakeholders for resolutions. 

d. Monitor real-time project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide frequent updates and progress reports to stakeholders. 

Requirements:

1. Supervisory skills and preferred experience in dismantling projects.
2. Knowledge of quality control and construction safety standards.
3. Experience in budgeting and project management.
4. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
5. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
7. A degree in civil engineering or a related field is a plus.
8. The position is located in Gresik, East Java (Project based).
