Job description:
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on detailed analysis of materials, labor, and other expenses.
- Tendering: Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and contract conditions.
- Contract Management: Administer construction contracts, including evaluating variations, issuing payments, and resolving disputes.
- Cost Control: Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with construction projects, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Value Engineering: Collaborate with project teams to optimize project value while minimizing costs.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying or a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
