Quantity Surveyor

Job description: 

1. Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on detailed analysis of materials, labor, and other expenses.
2. Tendering: Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and contract conditions.
3. Contract Management: Administer construction contracts, including evaluating variations, issuing payments, and resolving disputes.
4. Cost Control: Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
5. Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with construction projects, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
6. Value Engineering: Collaborate with project teams to optimize project value while minimizing costs.

Qualification: 

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying or a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
