Job Description
Advocate for enhanced plant availability and reliability through proactive measures to prevent equipment failures and drive plant improvements.Spearhead the Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) for reliability and oversee the implementation of identified improvement actions, including the review and execution of agreed-upon strategies.Deploy reliability programs in alignment with the Global Team's guidelines.Analyze equipment performance, establish consistent maintenance systems and strategies, and execute monthly reliability metric reports and analyses to align with business objectives.Undertake reliability improvement projects, including the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies.Lead a team of reliability technicians in executing a comprehensive condition monitoring program.Facilitate or take the lead in multidisciplinary problem-solving sessions, such as cause mapping, root cause analysis (RCA), risk analyses, and HAZOP studies. Offer coaching and mentorship to maintenance staff in these methodologies.Manage corrective actions in response to equipment failures.Support maintenance planners in developing spare inventory strategies.Assist in coordinating Turn-Around/Shutdown planning and execution, aiming to achieve reliability metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the maintenance budget for all routine scheduled work, including tasks managed by other departments and external service providers.Provide technical support to the team in troubleshooting equipment problems, offering guidance on spare parts, and ensuring optimal operational performance in alignment with safety standards and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) targets. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience working within a maintenance and reliability team in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the petrochemical industry.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.Strong change management abilities to facilitate and lead organizational transformations.Proficient in analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.In-depth knowledge of maintenance, reliability, and project management principles.Proven leadership skills, with experience managing small teams of tradespeople and engineers.Possess experience with Root Cause Analysis and equipment reliability improvement strategies.Additional experience in or exposure to HAZOP, JSA, Risk Analysis, FMEA and CMMS will be advantageous.
