Security Planning and Design Department Head

Responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
2. Understand client’s unique security needs, risks, and objectives.
3. Design integrated physical security systems and infrastructure, such as access control systems, surveillance systems, and alarm systems based on the findings of risk assessments.
4. Ensure that security designs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
5. Create and maintain documentation outlining security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams to design customized security solutions that address specific customer needs and to develop accurate cost estimates for proposed security solutions.
7. Develop proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the benefits of the proposed security solutions.
8. Collaborate with the post-sales teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
9. Provide technical support and guidance during the installation and configuration of security systems and solutions.
10. Stay current with industry certifications, trends, and best practices in security.

Qualifications

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline are common.
2. Substantial a minimum 5 years of experience in Security Planning, design, or a related field.
3. Experience in project management, risk assessment, and security implementation is highly valued.
4. Relevant certifications such as Gada Utama, Risk Management, Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP) can strengthen the candidacy.
5. In-depth knowledge of Security Planning and Design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
6. Understanding of physical security concepts, including access control, surveillance, and perimeter security.
7. Familiarity with security hardware and software solutions, such as access control systems, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
8. Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
