Senior Bookkeeper

We are looking for a qualified Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Tribal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and maintaining strong financial controls for both the restaurant and hostel operations. This role will require a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of financial accounting for both the restaurant and hostel operations

- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

- Prepare and analyze financial reports on a regular basis

- Monitor and maintain cash flow for both entities

- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions

- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for annual audits

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for the restaurant and hostel

- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial practices

- Proficiency in QUICKBOOKS and MS Excel

- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- Prior experience with restaurant and hostel financial operations is preferred
