Role Overview:
As DevSecops engineer, you will be a key member in setting up the infrastructure, administrate and maintain for DevOps needs for all of Digital solutions products. This resource will be key in managing releases and automate build and deployment pipelines. As part of managing cloud infrastructure across Digital products, the resource will be responsible for cloud infrastructure setup in AWS and administration of AWS using terraform, CloudFormation etc. Participate in release execution, coordinate with developer resources setup new delivery pipelines using industry standard CICD tools.
Sr. Cloud/DevOps Engineer
In this position you will join Cytiva's Digital Solutions group catering to multiple IoT and SaaS products catering to biopharma industry. This team will be highly visible across the Digital solutions group providing shared service for all of the Digital products DevSecOps needs. We are seeking motivated Cloud/DevOps Engineer to work on the installation , administration , and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps infrastructure.
The Team
The DevSecOps team is focused to develop and provide streamlined devops processes, pipelines and practices using latest technology tools for all of Digital teams offerings, sparing across SaaS products , IoT and data analytics capabilities.
The Expertise
B.S.in Computer Science preferred, Engineering / Mathematics or comparable
4+ years of cloud systems and application administration, integration, and operations
Expertise, in Jenkins, TeamCity and other CICD tools.
Experience building and deploying AWS cloud enabled applications
Hands on experience with automation & pipeline implementation (Testing, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline)
Experience in consumption of Web Services APIs (JSON / XML / SCIM)
The Technical skills We are looking for
Hands-on experience in designing and developing using the following technologies
Experience with Cloud services (Storage, Networking, Containers etc.)
Experience with Pipeline/Build tools such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, TeamCity, Sonar, Snyk, Terraform etc.
Monitoring automation systems such as Datadog, CloudWatch or Splunk. Datadog preferred.
Unix and Shell scripting skills, programming with Python desired.
Integrating modern SaaS solutions and vendors with existing systems and services
Containers and AWS certifications are a plus
Possess strong engineering skills and experience developing maintainable, scalable multi-tiered applications
Advanced focus on automation and always looking towards reducing waste and improving efficiencies
Enjoy communicating and learning the business behind the application
Experience and comfort working in an agile environment (Scrum and Kanban)
