Key Responsibilities :
- Design and development : You will be responsible for designing and developing system and Network architecture for the VM and hardware, ensuring alignment with the goals of creating a unified virtualization platform.
- Deployment and configuration : You will deploy applications, firmware, or images on VMs within designated hardware and configure network and server settings for optimal performance and resource utilization.
- Testing and feasibility checks : Conduct thorough testing of the virtualized environment, identifying any limitations, bottlenecks, or compatibility issues.
You will analyze the feasibility of our high-end box model.
Problem-solving and optimization : Troubleshoot any issues encountered during testing and suggest improvement solutions.
You will work closely with the team and developers to optimize the virtualized platform for performance and stability.
- Documentation and reporting : Prepare comprehensive reports outlining your findings, recommendations, and potential roadblocks, including necessary updates to applications for seamless virtualization.
- Knowledge sharing and collaboration : Collaborate with the team, developers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure successful virtualization of the solution.
Your expertise and contribution to the development of best practices for virtualized infrastructure management will be highly valued.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Server and Network Virtualization.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware NSX, Cisco ACI, Hyper-V , or others.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes , or others.
- Experience with the DevOps cycle or cloud-managed services.
- Experience with development on the application level is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, including written and verbal proficiency in English .
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be able to think critically and find innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in operating systems like Windows, Ubuntu, and UNIX-like.
- Understanding of network configurations and configuration files of the OS.
- Extensive knowledge of networking principles and configurations.
- Strong hands-on experience with server hardware and software installation and configuration.
- Experience with deploying and managing virtualized environments in production settings.
- Proven track record of delivering quality results within aggressive timelines
