SUMMARY
Ensure the procurement of goods and services and to maintain the storerooms, and walk-ins in the Culinary Department.
Essential Functions:
- Review departmental requisitions on a daily basis and organize for expedient fulfillment and delivery.
- Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Manage deliveries, receipt of goods and storage of items to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Maintain computerized records of items or services purchased, costs, delivery, and product quality and product performance.
- Establish and enforce strict internal controls and continuously monitor and track inventories.
- Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
- Follow processes or approval of invoices for payment.
- Work with Executive Chef to complete additional task as required.
