Sustainability Manager (Esg Manager)

ESG Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing sustainability environmental, social and corporate governance policies and procedures, as well as reviewing and appraising proposed underwriting transactions to be socially and environmentally sustainable and comply with company policies and internationally recognized best practices. Conduct the ESG reporting processes. To be a well-supported subject matter expert for the airport’s business partners, plus talk to airlines, property groups and contractors – supporting and facilitating sustainability across the precinct.

Responsibilities :

1. Articulate an ESG strategy that it is directly tied to the business' strategies and goals.
2. Provide technical expertise on key issues related to environmental and social impact assessment and on sustainability risks in the design, preparation, implementation and supervision of JAS’s operations taking into consideration best industry practices and standards.
3. Identification of sustainability improvement opportunities with a particular focus on energy, carbon, waste and water and collaborating across the business to implement.
4. Develop and execute corporate sustainability initiatives and strategies.
5. Creates policies, guidelines related to sustainability programs affecting the environment, health, and safety of the organization.
6. Engages with internal stakeholders and presenting regular sustainability reports and conduct sustainability assessments.
7. Manage the due diligence on all business unit's Sustainability Policies.
8. Conduct the ESG reporting processes and related internal control environment to ensure ESG data reliability and accuracy.
9. Conduct consultations with stakeholders in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines and be responsible for reporting on such 

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course in environmental science, Economic, environmental engineering, transportation planning, or in a field related to the job
2. Min. 8 years work experience in the sustainability field, preferably working in both consulting and a corporate environment in a variety of sustainability-related matters impacting multinational corporations
3. At least 3 years of experience conducting assurance ofsustainability/ESG/financial reports in audit firms or similar organization and/or supporting companies to improve ESG reporting internal control environments
4. Proven experience of successfully preparing ESG reports example Global Reporting Initiative, UN Global Compact or Sustainability Accounting Standard Board
5. Working experience in managing ESG data collection and reporting processes. Good attention to quality and details and solid analytical skills
6. Excellent project management skills and an ability to manage multiple complex projects and diverse stakeholders
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to support the accurate provision of ESG information to external stakeholders, other languages an asset (e.g., Mandarin)
8. Strong interpersonal and an ability to work with senior stakeholders and leaders, build rapport across functional boundaries as well as people of diverse backgrounds
