Bumi Laut Group's Travel & Tourism business was established in 1987 to provide quality travel and tour services to the rapidly expanding population in Indonesia.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budget constraints.
- Design tailor-made travel itineraries, considering client preferences, destination highlights, and budgetary considerations.
- Make reservations for flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay informed about travel destinations, attractions, and local cultures to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the travel journey.
- Promote additional services, upgrades, and special packages to enhance the overall travel experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure all travel documents, including itineraries and tickets, are prepared and delivered to clients in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal teams, travel partners, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of travel plans.
- Calculate offers or bids for incentive/tour packages, and ensure a competitive yet profitable margin for the company.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Travel Consultant or in a related role is preferred.
- Knowledge of travel industry software and booking systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Passion for travel and a genuine interest in exploring new destinations.
