Utility & Maintenance Officer (Mandarin Speaker)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Utility & Maintenance Officer who is fluent in Mandarin to join our team. The Utility & Maintenance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of utility systems within our organization, while also facilitating communication in Mandarin with relevant stakeholders when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Mandarin language..

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of utility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other facilities-related equipment.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with utility systems and equipment, and implement corrective actions as needed.
3. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of utility systems.
4. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair tasks.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and repair history.
6. Monitor utility consumption and identify opportunities for energy conservation and cost savings.
7. Respond promptly to utility-related emergencies and coordinate emergency repairs as necessary.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all utility maintenance activities.
9. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders in Mandarin when required.
10. Assist in the development of long-term maintenance plans and budgets for utility systems
