Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Accounting Staff to join our client manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various accounting tasks to ensure the accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Record financial transactions by entering account information into the company's accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, verifying discrepancies, and resolving billing issues.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation. - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary information and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the accounting manager or supervisor.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an Accounting Staff Minimum 2 years, Experience in Big 4 firms takes priority.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Ms. Office and accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication English skills, both written and verbal.
- Being able to speak Hokkien is also a priority.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday (half-day) as per the company's schedule requirements.
