Agri-Input Production And Distribution Officer

Agri-input Production and Distribution Officer will be responsible for coordinating the sourcing, distribution, and delivery of agricultural inputs to our valued farming community.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers of agricultural inputs, including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and machinery.
• Support in negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure cost-effective and reliable sources of agri-inputs.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of agri-inputs to farmers.
• Assist in conducting inspections to ensure that agri-inputs meet quality specifications and regulatory standards
• Contribute to building and maintaining positive relationships with farmers to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of Agri-input inventory, deliveries, and quality control measures and Warehouse management.
   

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Have at least 3 years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
• Proven experience in Agri-input sourcing, procurement, and Distribution.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural products, practices, and market trends, warehouse management
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment, particularly in terms of materials procurement to accommodate urgent requirements.
• Effective communication skills.
