Uraian Tugas

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES & ATTRIBUTES

  • Minimum a bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with a major in Computer Science
  • Minimum three years of experience as an application developer or similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English and Indonesian
  • Demonstrated knowledge of programming languages such as Oracle PLSQL, Python, Java, and PHP
  • Demonstrated strong programming skills and have a good understanding of software design and programming principles
  • Demonstrated experience in application and software development, database Oracle/MySQL/SQLServer, Oracle Netsuite implementation and customization (preferred) and mobile application development
  • Demonstrated outstanding personal with strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated strong technical skills with a wide range of hardware and software, mathematical and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated technical experience in a cross-platform environment
  • Have a customer-service approach to working with end-users
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different national and cultural backgrounds with sensitivity and respect
  • Ability to treat sensitive issues in a confidential manner
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team to achieve common objectives
  • Detail-oriented, has a high level of initiative, and can work under pressure.
  • A clear commitment to Child Protection, safety, service learning, and environmental stewardship  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting end-users with technical problems, making sure all cases are resolved in a timely and effective manner, and escalating cases when necessary
  • Answering user inquiries regarding computer software to resolve problems.
  • Observing and testing system functioning to verify correct operations, detect errors, and identify key application features.
  • Documenting all daily transactions, problems, and remedial actions that are taken, or installation activities.
  • Writing high-quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
  • Testing and debugging source code and integration before launch 
  • Improving efficiency and effectiveness of current software or application by analyzing and proposing recommendations to include checklists, procedures, policies, training, security, identifying deficiencies, and offering solutions
  • Developing software solutions and implementing the source code of the application to meet the user's needs.
  • Collaborating with other application developers, Oracle specialists, and other relevant IT team members, assisting as needed, and collaborating to solve technical problems
  • Contributing to and assisting with the management of the Information Services Knowledge Base which should contain up-to-date documentation about service level agreements and solutions to problems 
  • Working on special projects as requested by the Applications Developer Manager
  • Collaborating with IS Engineers to manage hardware and software distribution, updates, and patches
  • Collaborating with technical support staff provided by vendors to provide effective customer service to end-users
  • Generating ideas and implementing methods to improve problem resolution
  • Promoting a service-oriented and data-driven culture in the Information Services Department
  • Embracing the JIS Learning Dispositions of Resilience, Resourcefulness, Relating and Reflecting
  • Performing other related duties and assuming other responsibilities as assigned by the Applications Development Manager, including but not limited to other projects when deemed necessary
