Now we are looking for a dynamic, outgoing, and enthusiastic – Assistant Director of Rooms with a strong background and experience in rooms’ management, good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills with a great leadership to join our energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate team at Grand Hyatt Bali

The goal of the Assistant Director of Rooms is to work directly with and in the absence of the Director of Rooms to managing the day-to-day operation of the Rooms Division (Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa & Recreation and Security).

The Assistant Director of Rooms will be for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Assistant Director of Rooms is responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all operational aspects of the Rooms Division and to ensure that the various departments are run according to the standards set for the brand in general and the hotel specifically.

As an Assistant Director of Rooms, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Rooms and below are some of the key responsibilities:

  • Ensures that the Rooms activities are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategy, and that the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate.
  • Ensures that all associates deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Ensures that the individual department of Rooms Division operates with the lowest possible cost structure while also delivering on the brand promise to the guest, proactively managing costs based on key performance indicators.
  • Implements and ensure consistent guest recognition programmes and maintains a relevant guest history database.
  • Oversees the Rooms experience from check-in to check-out for all guests, working through each Head of Department to ensure a seamlessly perfect guest experience and make adjustments where necessary.
