Job Description - Assistant Director of Sales Catering

Job summary
Assistant Director of Sales Catering positionResponsible for hotel room salesMaximizing revenue and meeting profit objectives
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Represent the sales functions and needs of the hotel in the development of the hotel’s sales policy.• Maintain the sales filing system and create individual account files.• Implement and direct the development of special marketing projects and plans.• Develop action plan and work in conjunction with the hotel communication Standards of Procedures.• Develop marketing plan with the Sales & Marketing team.• Attend various meetings and discussions related to sales, revenue, and strategy.• Conduct morning briefing with the sales team.• Gather Comp-set information and monitor development.• Maintain good rapport with key customers.• Back up the activities of each sales team member.
Requirements
• Experience leading a team to achieve results.• Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills.• Understanding of hotel market segments and current trends.• Understanding of branding and positioning of Hotels within the market.• Experience in development and execution of Sales strategies.
