Key responsibilities

Panjang Operations Tasks
1. Responsible for Inward and Outward Manifest Submission in area Panjang and Palembang
2. Responsible for operational task with detail as below:
a. Submit Early Stack and Open Stack To Terminal
b. Monitoring Vessel Schedule and Update Berthing Plan to Terminal
c. Liaise with HQ Operation for actual berthing plan and discuss for contingency if any vessel delayed
d. Create supporting document needed by Terminal for discharge and loading purpose
e. Discrepancy check HQ Operation Load List vs Terminal gate-in
f. Liaise with VSA Partner for cargo load list and other operational concern
g. Monitoring vessel operational during berthing
h. Create TDR and Final Load list to HQ Operation, CS, TNM and VSA Partner
I. Create supporting document for empty supply with depot
j. Liaise with reefer technician for any reefer issue
k. Monitoring Pre baplie submission from technician and discuss with stowage team if any stowage Concern
l. Exception request from partner and customer for example late gate in request and other issue during vessel berthing
m. Monitoring status and stock equipment with depo
n. Weekly meeting with Terminal together with other shipping line
o. Process redress and other activity related communciation with Panjang Customs
p. Responsible to monitor invoice activity and report to HQ Finance
q. Daily briefing with INA Vessel & Terminal Operation team
Admin & Cost Control Tasks:
1. Controlling the husbandry costs. The goal is to minimize the deviation from the budget and ensure it is completed within the approved costs
2. Will be required to take a proactive role in identifying savings, efficiencies
3. Deliver on cost targets including monitoring performance, reconciliation with other stakeholder i.e local ops/ husbandry team and Finance team
4. Ensure charges invoiced are in accordance with agreed expenses
5. Analyze and provide cost management report that has been assigned
6. Take responsibility of all administration /reporting husbandry expenses within timeline/ deadline

We are looking for

• Previous experience in Operational Cost Control in Marine / Shipping industry
• Collaborative, personable and good communications skill
• Excellent team player and able to work effectively under pressure
• Well organized, detail oriented, target-driven, efficient and effective
• Able to work independently or with minimum supervision
