Business Analyst

The Role

In this role, you will be reporting to the COO and will be playing a pivotal role in working closely with external stakeholders on product design, planning, and product roadmap drawing. You will be responsible for :

• Preparing and leading requirement-gathering workshops with clients.
• Full product life cycle management, working closely with engineering teams to drive product development.
• Working on business teams and individual users’ feedback to explore the best product fit to deliver the best business results.
• Analyzing data models and IT landscapes from a global perspective to be able to discuss integrations and dependencies with the tech lead.
• Engaging with stakeholders (internal and external) to specify requirements.
• Breaking down the specifications of the requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria and updating these in collaboration tools e.g. JIRA and Confluence.
• Leading the refinement sessions to discuss and optimize user stories.
• During development sprints, being closely involved with the team to answer any questions.
• You will be required to have product knowledge to be able to make decisions on the product features.
• Work together with testers to prepare User Acceptance Testing.

Ideal Profile

• You have a Bachelor's in Engineering or related fields and have at least 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst/Project Manager role, ideally in the Sustainability, IT, FinTech, InsureTech or similar industries.
• You have a solid understanding of the technical aspects that cater to building robust tech products.
• You are knowledgeable or well-versed in Software Development, Data Modeling, and APIs. Experience as a developer would be advantageous.
• You have worked in an Agile/Scrum environment, ideally working with enterprise clients.
• You can thrive in a joint project management environment while delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are a must
• You are self-driven, capable of navigating in fast-paced & high growth situations with uncertainties
• You also have strong analytical abilities with great attention to detail
• You are capable of working with both development and commercial teams
