Uraian Tugas

Job Descriptions:

Cashiers handle customer purchases, scanning items, and totaling bills accurately using electronic cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Accept and organize various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, checks, and digital wallets.
Cashiers assist customers with inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.
Ensure checkout areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies such as shopping bags and receipt paper.
Reconcile cash drawers at the end of their shifts, ensuring that the amounts match transactions and preparing cash for bank deposits.
Adhere to security protocols to prevent theft, including verifying identification for certain transactions and monitoring for suspicious behavior.

Requirements:

Strong math skills are essential for accurately calculating totals, providing change, and reconciling cash drawers.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for providing friendly and efficient service to customers.
Cashiers must pay close attention to product codes, prices, and transaction details to avoid errors.
Familiarity with electronic cash registers, POS systems, and other retail software is often necessary.
Cashiers handle money and sensitive customer information, so trustworthiness and ethical behavior are essential.
