JOB DESCRIPTION

• Conduct Sourcing processes (Strategic & Non-Strategic) which is a comprehensive and thorough approach to tendering for company requirements in services or materials, take a strategic approach in considering company requirements across business units and geographies to capitalized opportunities and take advantage of market and industry conditions
• Working with Contract Management Team to consistently apply mandatory Contracting Processes
• Work directly with business units to understand strategic priorities and goals and leverage in developing future procurement plans to identify critical success factors to ensure efficient and effective supplier sourcing and contracting
• In collaboration with Supplier Performance Management Team focused on supplier performance with those suppliers that have most criticality and importance to SMM operations. Implement Advance Supplier Relationship and Supplier Quality Management to increase emphasis on reinforcing and tracking a supplier’s performance against SMM’s requirement and expectation
• Collaborate and participate in the planning and financial budgeting for the source to contract functions within SMM. Assist in the creation and communication of savings targets and programs based on knowledge of overall category and business unit strategy
• Manage Category Management Metrics including compliance metrics to ensure all business units are adhering to procurement policies and procedures
