Our client, a newlicencedcrypto trading platform based in South eastasia, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to spearhead its strategic growth initiatives. Since its establishment in 2023, our client has been diligently laying the groundwork for a premier crypto trading platform in the region.
Role Overview:The CEO will play a pivotal role in leading our client through its critical phases, from the development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to achieving commercial profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully navigating Crypto Exchanges from inception to profitability, demonstrating proficiency in strategic planning, team leadership, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive the platform's growth and market penetration.
- Oversee the development and launch of the MVP, focusing initially on a spot trading platform tailored for high-net-worth clients.
- Establish a high-quality educational component within the platform to attract investors from diverse demographics, particularly targeting an older clientele.
- Lead the expansion of platform capabilities to include derivative products, catering to sophisticated and professional traders.
- Define and implement industry-leading processes and standards to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and onboard key roles, including a Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
- Source a liquidity provider.
- Roll out Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to facilitate platform accessibility for foreign users.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior leadership role within the cryptocurrency exchange industry, with a demonstrable track record of achieving commercial success.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to navigate complex market dynamics and regulatory environments.
- Excellent leadership abilities, capable of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency trading platforms, including spot and derivative products.
- Familiarity with industry best practices, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
