Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, such as finance or business administration. Masters’s degree in accounting or business administration preferred.
- 3-5 Years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience in Hospitality industry and familiar with VHP System.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, Tax and financial analysis. Preferred have brevet A&B.
- Having strong analitycal Leadership Skill, Problem Solving and Interpersonal Skill.
- Understanding handling logistic, General Ledger and Manager Cash Flow (CA).
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Monitor and control of the occupation of each section in the accounting department with the Uniform System of accounts hotels standard.
- Controls and posting journals and Daily Report on Uniform system of accounts hotels from each section into the general ledger.
- Checking revenue, cash receipts and disbursements and bank reconciliation
- Checking Accounts Receivable and checking invoices or bills that have been made.
- Checked / verified Daily Report prepared by the Income Auditor for subsequent posting to the ledger.
- Prepare draft monograph and Financial Statement which includes Cash Flow, Cash Sales, Operating expense, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, accounts payable and prepaid report to the Account Manager.
- Make sharing service charge calculation which will be distributed to employees.
- Checking and Adjustment Voucher report to the Accounting Manager.
- Checking bank reconciliation and bank balances books with a debit memorandum and the memorandum loans from banks.
