We are currently assisting our client, an integrated coal mining company in East Kalimantan for Chief Financial Officer role.
Job Purpose :
The role has an overall responsibility of Treasury, Corporate Finance, Accounts, MIS, Secretarial, Tax, Insurance etc. It includes all aspects that may constitute the responsibilities of a CFO of a large business.
The role will also be monitoring the preparation, finalization and audit of accounts and leading transformational change including business acquisitions, integrations, divestments, alliances, setting-up new products, verticals, revenue streams.
1. Key Responsibilities :
- Managing the Debt & Capital market transactions :
- Including the project & corp. fin efforts. Debt restructuring, if any, ECBs, private placement, etc.,
- Equity transactions, which could be IPO, raising equity from strategic or PE funds, FCCBs etc.
- Raising capital.
2. M&A & Monetization :
- Lead the M&A efforts, if any. Identification of acquisition opportunities, negotiation and consummation of the deal, and integration of financial systems.
- Monetization of the existing assets
3. Business, Growth & Governance :
- Evaluation of businesses growth and investment plans.
- Design of financial strategy that supports companys underlying businesses strategy.
- Identification of key business concerns and opportunities through continuous evaluation of strategic plans.
Required Qualification :
- Chartered Accountant, and / or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Finance, from an institute of repute.
- Degree in law added advantage.
- Significant 18-20 years of experience as a Finance Head.
Required Capabilities and Skills :
- Exposure to Project Financing and Corporate Financing.
- Exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Exposure and understanding to Indian & International financing options.
- Understanding of regulatory implications of complex local and international transactions
- Listing & regulatory experience in Indonesia Stock exchange
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and Corporate Governance.
4. Management of relationships with the related constituencies :
- Equity investors
- Lenders
- Analysts
- Rating agencies
- Government
5. Financial controls & MIS :
- Annual operating plans and periodic MIS including competitive benchmarking.
- Management of financial engineering tools to reduce cost of funds and cash
- flow risk.
- Consolidation of Balance Sheet and interfacing with auditors.
6. Financial Information :
- Oversee the issuance of financial information.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
