Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in civil engineering project management, with a minimum of 6 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proficiency in civil engineering principles, practices, and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
- Understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements relevant to civil engineering projects.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and constraints in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the optimization of manufacturing processes involved in sugarcane processing
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, specifications, and designs that meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Manage contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, including procurement, negotiation, and administration.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance, implementing cost-saving measures and controlling expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle to deliver high-quality results.
- Incorporate sustainable design principles and practices into civil engineering projects to minimize environmental impact and promote long-term sustainability.
