The Role: Cloud Support Engineer
The Cloud Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers utilizing cloud services. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and security, ensuring the smooth operation of cloud-based applications and services. The Cloud Support Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions, as well as to provide guidance and best practices for optimizing cloud environments. Additionally, they may participate in the development and improvement of support processes and documentation to enhance overall customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Job Descriptions:
- Monitoring alerts in all servers.
- Taking initial action on all types of alerts, also, escalating the alerts if the escalation team's action is needed.
- Checking customers via our billing system panel
- Spam monitoring, especially through software monitoring (Zabbix, etc)
- Handle level 1 tickets and escalation.
- SSL installation and patch upgrade on Mail servers.
- Monitoring services on production servers. (Monitor system performance, availability, and security).
- Technical support.
- Keep current on emerging technologies and standards.
- Expert in English
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Shifting work with a rotating schedule (24/7).
Requirements:
- Have a knowledge in IT networks – Routers & Switches, LAN/WAN TCP/IP, DNS, and Mail.
- Have a knowledge in LINUX Server Network Administration.
- Have a knowledge in Configuration – Nginx, Apache, Mysql.
- Have a knowledge of IIS Windows Web Server.
- Experience with Linux Server in virtualized environments.
- Familiarity with load balancing.
- Familiar with Platform Virtualization and Email Security.
- Experience with virtualization technologies.
- Experience with large-scale systems and clusters is a plus.
- Experience in handling problems and overcoming the servers and networks.
