Compliance Associate

About the role:

• As a Compliance Associate you will ensure the compliance of the organization to applicable laws and regulations of payment service providers. You will work across functions in the company to provide compliance advisory to all functions, conduct product compliance risk assessment, reporting and submissions to the regulators with the primary objective of ensuring the implementation of payments regulations in Indonesia.

What you'll do (Responsibilities):

• Maintain communication with BI and report required submission to BI.
• Monitor and maintain the business process and business flow of the company to be always in compliance with Bank Indonesia's regulations.
• Monitor the provisions of agreement with vendor, customer, and business partner to be always in compliance with BI Regulations.
• Drafting and updating Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of Company Products to be always in compliance with BI Regulations.
• Maintain the latest update of payment gateway regulations and provide /disseminate assessment of such regulations to the internal unit.

What capabilities you'll need (Requirements):

• Experience in compliance in the payment system/payment service provider for minimal 5 years.
• Have sound knowledge in the regulations imposed by Bank Indonesia for the payment system/payment service provider industry.
• Familiarity with startup dynamics, including an understanding of the challenges and legal considerations specific to startup environments.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Strong analytical thinking.

Bonus points if you have the following skills:

• Experience in drafting and reviewing data protection and privacy policies for internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in legal and compliance in the lending service is an advantage.
