Our company is looking for a Social Media Content Creator to assist in creating original and engaging contents for our social media accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and turning content ideas into videos, images, infographics and text captions. You will also be responsible to create and execute a content calendar. A deep interest in current social media trends is required to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities- Create various forms of social media content (text captions, still and moving images) suitable for the different social media platforms (Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube)
- Reviewing, editing and updating content for company websites, blogs and marketing materials
- Publish posts according to the established social media content calendar
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that every piece of content is relevant and helps the company maximize engagement, reach and sales
- Ensure every piece of content created aligns with the companies brand voice
- Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing the findings
- Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints and to promote company initiatives
- Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, as well identify and solve problems
- Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic
- Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers
- Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing or a similar field
- Experience creating strong, engaging contents and the ability to turn a concept into compelling content
- An understanding of SEO best practices
- Demonstrating excellence in writing, proofreading and editing
- Excellent research, organizational and time management skills
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy
- Deep knowledge of social media trends in the different platforms, hashtags, and engagement strategy
- Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content
