Continuous Improvement Specialist

Role Summary

The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for driving Continuous Improvement initiatives in production areas or other industrial departments to support the production process, to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize performance.

Role Responsibilities

Identify Opportunities:

• Collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement within processes, systems, and workflows.
• Conduct analysis and gather data to assess current performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.

Develop Improvement Strategies:

• Design and develop improvement strategies and action plans to address identified opportunities.
• Utilize Legrand Way, Lean methodologies, Six Sigma principles, and other improvement frameworks to drive change effectively.

Implement Solutions:

• Lead cross-functional teams to implement improvement initiatives and Legrand Way.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely execution of action plans.

Provide Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to employees on Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools.
• Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement by promoting best practices and facilitating knowledge sharing.

Measure and Evaluate:

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
• Analyze data and feedback to evaluate the impact of implemented changes and identify areas for further improvement.

Drive Innovation:

• Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement innovative solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Document processes, procedures, and best practices related to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate progress, achievements, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.

Role Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in industrial Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Operations Management, or related field.
• Able to use AutoCAD will be a plus point.
• Proven experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership capabilities to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Fluent in English both speaking and writing.
